  • LAWRENCE BECK | STILL-LIFE BOTANIC PHOTOGRAPHS

    Lawrence Beck’s method focuses on still-life images with some of them referring explicitly to different moments in art history such as Dutch paintings from the 17th century, through to large-scale tulips portraits and Impressionist paintings from 19th century, with water lilies reminiscent of Claude Monet. In his black and white lilies series, he pays significant attention to picture grains, light effects, and contrasts to enhance the idea of nature imitating art and his particular visual commentary on the subject of the closely cultivated garden, has seen him hold several solo exhibitions in many institutions around the world.

    An accomplished portrait painter known for her flawless blending and pastel hues, Josie McCoy is a prolific artist whose career spans almost 20 years since graduating from her Masters course at Central St. Martins, London, in 1999. Within her work, McCoy examines an artificial version of reality offered through television, film and art, inviting the viewer to connect with fictional yet familiar subject matter. Although the actresses she depicts are usually instantly recognisable, it’s often the character they’re playing in a specific role that the portrait is really of, and the narratives within the films she chooses are the backdrop for the women she immortalises on canvas.

  • ALESSANDRO RAHO | CONTEMPORARY PHOTOREALISM

    Born in Nassau, Bahamas, Alessandro Raho moved to London and attended the prestigious Goldsmiths College, graduating in 1994 with a BA degree in Fine Art. He had an impressively instantaneous start to his career whereby in 1995 he was included in the Young British Artist showcase, Brilliant! , at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and his works from this time are held in collections such as Tate Collection, London; The Museum of Modern Art, New York; and the Berardo Collection, Lisbon.

JAMES HUNTER | INVESTING IN ART
British painter James Hunter first came to be represented by Eyestorm in the summer of 2013, four years after graduating with a First Class (Hons) in Fine Art from Leeds Metropolitan University.

His work has been shown internationally since then in cities including New York City, Stockholm, Hong Kong, Singapore and London.
