Map of Time is our new screenprint by London-based artist Whitney McVeigh. Angie talks more about the piece below. When we first started showing Whitney McVeigh’s work at Eyestorm, perhaps ten years ago, it was primarily pieces from her ‘Heads’ series, which for her represented “a frailty beneath the complex surface of us all” and drew on references to primitive paintings.

Colour Wheel 5 is Eyestorm’s first limited edition screenprint with Sophie Smallhorn. Best known as the artist behind the changing colour spectrum that ran around the 2012 Olympic stadium, Sophie has an obsession with colour.

The Escape is our first limited edition with Carne Griffiths. Angie talks more about the new screenprint and working with Carne on the project below. I’m particularly excited about the launch of this edition.

It’s a busy week for Eyestorm as we exhibit at not one but two art fairs - Multiplied at Christie’s in London, and Affordable Art Fair in Mexico City. On show at the fairs will be brand new and recently launched limited editions by Henrik Simonsen, Jacky Tsai, Whitney McVeigh, Carne Griffiths, John Simpson, Sophie Smallhorn and Lucie Bennett, as well as work by Noma Bar, James Hunter, Peter Lloyd, Carine Magescas and Delphine Lebourgeois.

Ed Thompson’s passion for photojournalism has taken him to all corners of the earth. With his captivating images never failing to attract attention, his latest project is a personal pilgrimage that saw him travel to Lebanon to photograph Syrian refugees after meeting a Lebanese art student in a London pub.
