In May Eyestorm released Jacky Tsai’s stunning Shanghai Tang series, a set of six limited print editions exclusively available at Eyestorm. Now the luxury brand has released the Blue Lotus collection, which consists of a plate, teapot, cup & saucer, sugar bowl, centrepiece plate, tea jar and tray that all feature imagery taken from one of the prints, Lotus Play.

The Escape is our first limited edition with Carne Griffiths. Angie talks more about the new screenprint and working with Carne on the project below. I’m particularly excited about the launch of this edition.

We’re excited to announce we’ll be taking part in two more art fairs this autumn, in addition to the three already planned, taking our schedule to five fairs in three months. After New York City Affordable Art Fair, which opens in two weeks’ time at The Tunnel building in Chelsea, we will exhibit in Mexico City in mid October, followed by Amsterdam at the end of that month.

Map of Time is our new screenprint by London-based artist Whitney McVeigh. Angie talks more about the piece below. When we first started showing Whitney McVeigh’s work at Eyestorm, perhaps ten years ago, it was primarily pieces from her ‘Heads’ series, which for her represented “a frailty beneath the complex surface of us all” and drew on references to primitive paintings.

The first thing that strikes me about Alexander Brattell’s recent photographs is the amazing amount of light that pours into each image. Crisp and clean in contrast to the dramatic shadows it creates, as a self-confessed sun worshipper this remarkable gleam transports me to a happier place, a holiday perhaps, triggering an overwhelming sense of calm.
