The Whitney Museum of American Art in Manhattan holds one of the finest collections of work by American artists in the world. Twelve Eyestorm artists have work in the Whitney’s large collection, four of them with pieces currently on view in the museum.

French artist Etienne Clement uses historical, political or biblical references to create complex narratives, which he builds by carefully constructing scenes with miniature figures and props. His new piece, ‘Boudoir’, is inspired by 18th century France and tells a story about the possible origins of the first commercial gallery space.

We first began working with Jacky Tsai five years ago back in 2011, when we showed two of his pieces at an auction event we were hosting at the Mayfair Hotel, London.
