It’s been a busy first half of the year for Eyestorm, taking part in five worldwide art fairs and being a part of 10 new limited print editions. For the autumn we have even bigger plans. Our first fair is AAF New York in September, followed by Multiplied art fair in October and AAF Singapore in November.

We’re excited to announce we’ll be taking part in two more art fairs this autumn, in addition to the three already planned, taking our schedule to five fairs in three months. After New York City Affordable Art Fair, which opens in two weeks’ time at The Tunnel building in Chelsea, we will exhibit in Mexico City in mid October, followed by Amsterdam at the end of that month.

There’s something very fresh and new about Jonathan Purday’s most recent series of paintings. Continuing to focus on landscapes he’s experienced, both in the Algarve area of Portugal where he spent some time living in recent years and in Cornwall in the UK where he visited last summer, these new canvases are more complex and accomplished than previous works, almost as if Purday has ‘found his feet’ so speak with his subject matter and matured into his style of working.
