Screenprints are beautiful objects. Produced by hand, they’re created by pushing ink through a mesh onto paper, layer by layer, which can result in some spectacular pieces of work.

Many of our artists make unique works on canvas including Mauricio Ortiz with his stunning large scale canvases of shells, Eleanor Barreau with her retro scenes of 1970s LA, Kate Allen who paints Op Art style abstracts, and Emily Davey with her energetic fictional landscapes that explore human and animal behavior.

One of our most collected artists, Lucie Bennett is best known for her simple line paintings and limited editions of women in various poses. After predominantly making paintings and screenprints over the past few years - many of which were published by Eyestorm - in the last six months she’s started to explore other mediums, resulting in Candy Stripe and Tutti Futti, two limited editions of 25 made entirely from brightly-coloured laser cut acrylic, followed by the impressive Romy in Lights neon piece earlier this year.

It’s all been happening in Covent Garden this week in the run up to Easter as ‘The Big Egg Hunt’ comes back to London after touring the UK. Organised by leading choclatiers Lindt, the event involves 101 giant Easter Eggs which have been designed by different artists including Eyestorm’s Mark Hayward and Whitney McVeigh, being hidden in cities throughout the UK since February to support the charity Action for Children.
