My favourite artworks by Delphine Lebourgeois over the years I’ve worked with her have been those featuring army-like groups of women that form a kind of pattern across the page.

Our February online auction features a collection of sought-after secondary market works by some of our most popular artists. Lots include the full set of printers proofs of the eight 2005 Eyestorm lithographs by Antony Micallef, whose current solo show at Lazarides has been kicking up a storm in London over the past week, and work by Dan Baldwin and Rob and Nick Carter, who have had recent solo shows in London and New York respectively.

It’s not often we take new artists on at Eyestorm, so it’s always exciting for me to present and talk about work for the first time. When I first saw Turkish artist and designer Mehmet Gözetlik’s new series of photographic prints, titled ‘Chinatown’, one of the first things that struck me was how they created such a strong visual narrative, which I found extremely appealing.

Gill Rocca’s stunning landscape paintings include miniature works as well as large scale pieces. Angie talks more about the work below. Whenever I see a new painting by Gill Rocca in the flesh, especially a large scale piece, it really does take my breath away.

As much as I love the vibrant busyness of London and everything that comes with living in a city that is always ‘on the go’, when I look at Gill Rocca’s landscapes I get an instant urge to flee alone to an open space.
