In 2004, award-winning and highly regarded photographer Bob Carlos Clarke created a series of photographic editions for an exhibition at Eyestorm’s Maddox Street gallery titled ‘Love-Dolls Never Die’. After his sudden death in 2006, many of these works were removed from the market, but we’re now able to offer them again.

Looking at David Jones’ work is like taking a trip down memory lane. Despite not knowing any of the subjects of his vibrant, highly varnished paintings, or never having visited any of the places he presents, somehow they have a familiarity about them that enables us to take a moment to fondly think about our own years gone by.

Usually with works of art, the unsaid rule is generally to ‘look but don’t touch’. Helen Barff’s new sculptural works however are different. Consisting of stones she’s found on the shores of the Thames near to her home which she’s then covered in felt, these objects are intended to be picked up and handled (providing hands are clean!).
