Anja Niemi’s photographic works gained a fantastic response when we first introduced them back in July. Below Angie presents four new images from the series, which sees the artist cast herself as the leading character in order to explore varying female roles within society.

Between August and October 2014, Eyestorm released new editions by Jacky Tsai, Henrik Simonsen, Lucie Bennett, Sophie Smallhorn, Whitney McVeigh, Carne Griffiths and John Simpson, and have exhibited them in New York, Mexico City, Amsterdam and London.

Usually with works of art, the unsaid rule is generally to ‘look but don’t touch’. Helen Barff’s new sculptural works however are different. Consisting of stones she’s found on the shores of the Thames near to her home which she’s then covered in felt, these objects are intended to be picked up and handled (providing hands are clean!).
