    October 19th 2018
The late great Dennis Oppenheim (1938 - 2011) was a seminal American artist whose work helped define the history of contemporary art from the 1960s to the present day. With an oeuvre that spans conceptual, performance, sculpture, video, and photography, Oppenheim is perhaps best known for his ambitious public installations and as an early proponent of Earth works (also known as Land art), alongside Robert Smithson.

  • ROSS HOLDEN | SMALL INTERLOCKING PANELS | NEW PAINTINGS
    October 05th 2018
A little more than a year ago, British artist Ross Holden released the first of a new series of work which during the year has resulted in two incredible screenprints and eighteen painted panels. Today we present nine small panels, which form the concluding part of his initial interlocking panels. Where Holden’s previous practice as a photographer had a focus on geometrical mosaics compiled from photos from his many trips around the world, the artist has since developed his creative route further and now compressing each observation into artwork containing only the most memorable colours; A practice Holden had been keen on developing for several years.

  • LUCIE BENNETT | EXPLORATION OF FEMALE IDENTITY | NEW PAINTINGS
    September 27th 2018
British contemporary artist, Lucie Bennett paints female figures that exude a cool, calm confidence, both literally through the use of pose and body language, as well as abstractly in the fluidity of her lines. Bennett’s clean and elegant linear forms fall naturally across the surface of her paintings - the incredible ease of her artistic style enhancing her subjects as strong, confident women who also encapsulate a sensual femininity.

    September 14th 2018
This summer it is seven years ago Eyestorm exhibited the first work by the Chinese artist Jacky Tsai in a group exhibition in Mayfair, London. During the years that followed, we have released close to thirty exclusive print editions with Tsai and showed the artist’s work at numerous international art fairs in Asia, Europe and United States - and it has been an incredible journey and a privilege to work with a talented artist like Jacky Tsai. 2018 has been the year where Tsai took his first steps from being an emerging artist into a more established one.

  • ED MOSES | A CENTRAL FIGURE IN WEST COAST ART
    August 24th 2018
With a career spanning seven decades, the recently late American abstract painter, Ed Moses received national and international recognition as one of the key artists in post-war American painting, and as a central figure in the development of the Los Angeles art scene during this time. A contemporary of his fellow west-coast artists such as Wallace Berman, Billy Al Bengston, and Ed Ruscha, Moses has often been described as a ‘restless painter’. He is known for his ever-changing and developing style, focussing primarily on abstract painting, however always working with new techniques and processes that set him apart from his contemporaries.

HELMUT NEWTON | INVESTING IN ART
One of the most infamous photographers in art history and best known of the twentieth century, Helmut Newton was an influential German-Australian fashion photographer and forefather of provocative aesthetics.

In Newton’s photography, his women command attention. They are treacherous, even menacing, yet always elegant. His portraits achieved international fame in the 1970s while Newton worked principally for French Vogue, and became celebrated for their controversial scenarios, bold lighting, hypersexualised poses and striking compositions.

Valium
With two major exhibitions during the Venice Biennale, 2017 was a year which increased the awareness of Damien Hirst. With Hirst still actively releasing new print editions, many collectors focus on his earlier work from 2000 and before, such as Valium, Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD), Opium, Beautiful, Galactic, Exploding Screenprint (Spin) and Painting-by-Numbers.

If you have one of the above prints that you are potentially interested in selling, please do get in touch with us via the Contact page, which you can find here.
