This series of works, which he began working on in 2014, relies on a minimalistic yet striking visual vocabulary. By creating the images digitally with vector based Illustrator software and then printing them by hand, they acquire a new dimension of movement as they’re transformed from digital files viewed on a screen, to intricate ink drawings printed onto paper. When colours are introduced, as seen here with some of the prints including a red ink, this experience is intensified, as texture and transparency is created.
