Louise Sanders’ beautiful high-gloss paintings are the artist’s personal take on landscapes she has visited around the world. Angie talks more about the work below. Each time we receive new paintings from Louise Sanders, either for an art fair or to show on the website, she has introduced something a little different into her work.

Map of Time is our new screenprint by London-based artist Whitney McVeigh. Angie talks more about the piece below. When we first started showing Whitney McVeigh’s work at Eyestorm, perhaps ten years ago, it was primarily pieces from her ‘Heads’ series, which for her represented “a frailty beneath the complex surface of us all” and drew on references to primitive paintings.

Now in its seventh year, the Threadneedle art prize was set up to honour figurative art today by championing the most interesting artists in Europe. We’re excited to announce our very own Gill Rocca has been selected for this year’s exhibition for her small circular painting ‘Figment VII’.

New York based French photographer Carine Magescas’ minimal seascapes are inspired by the vast open beaches of California. Angie introduces the work and talks more about the series below.

The works in Victoria Browne’s ‘Training Nature’ series immediately catch the eye because it’s unlikely you’ve ever seen anything like them before. My initial thought when I first saw Donut was that it did indeed look like a donut (I hadn’t seen the title at this point) formed of a swarm of bees which had huddled together to make an almost-perfect spherical shape with a hole in it.
